    Improve Clarification in Clear Water Drilling With Calcium Nitrate From Di-Corp

    Calcium nitrate (EnviroFloc) is a highly soluble source of calcium ions for use as a coagulant in clear water drilling and clarification operations using settling tanks and/or centrifuges. The product’s residual chemistry in the form of nitrate ions makes waste streams excellent fertilizer to help restore vegetation on worksites after drilling is complete. In clear water applications, a concentration of 400 ppm is desirable to start a coagulation and flocculation reaction.

    Calcium nitrate can also be used as a calcium source in invert oil emulsions and as an accelerator for oil well cement.
