Core Barrel Conversions
Di-Corp offers several Core Barrel Conversion assemblies. One allows for a seamless transition from the industry-leading core barrel assembly to the enhanced EdgeLATCH™ Core Barrel by replacing only a handful of simple components. Another comes fully assembled and replaces all components.
Core Barrel Kits
Di-Corp offers both gravity and pump-in systems in double and triple-tube configurations. RetroLATCH™, on the other hand, is part of our Retro series. It’s our version of the most widely used traditional latch system, a familiar “swing-out” link-style design. It’s fully compatible with competitor assemblies, offered in H and N sizes, and gives a reliable, proven option if you prefer to stick with a classic setup.
What are the features of the EdgeLATCH™ Core Barrel Assembly?
Our EdgeLATCH™ Core Barrel Assembly:
- Provides a mechanical advantage during the “unlatching” or “unlocking” of the inner tube assembly.
- Maximizes the efficiency with which the latches are pulled inward.
- Transfers the pulling force of the latch retraction case from the pin through to the latches.
- Provides reliable, secure latching with both tanged and non-tanged locking couplings via an integrated latch spring that enables each latch to move independently from the other.
- Prevents contamination for the prolonged life of the bearing and offers increased impact resistance on the bearing.
