    Barite for Non-Oilfield

Barite is a weighting material with a specific gravity of approximately 4.2–4.3. It is commonly used in drilling mud systems, including water-based muds, to increase fluid density. With proper mud design, barite can be used to achieve high mud weights (often up to around 20 ppg) while maintaining workable flow properties.

    Cal Carb 325

Cal Carb 325 is an acid-soluble calcium carbonate weighting and bridging material used in drilling, completion, and workover fluids. It helps build a filter cake that reduces fluid invasion and assists with loss control, while enabling easier cleanup of the production zone.
