Safety plugs are primarily used to plug a diamond drill hole. Safety plugs are designed to be installed at the required depth in the hole. The slotted nut (along with the adapter) is used to hold the plug in place while descending the hole to the required depth, offering more control. The adapter can be used on both standard and slotted nut style Safety Plugs. Safety plugs are made of rubber, zinc and mild steel. It can be drilled out if required.
