The Drillers Edge manufacturing facility in North Bay was honored to host Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne on February 5, 2014 as she passed through the city on her tour. Ms. Wynne was in North Bay to address a variety of issues and this provided the perfect opportunity for her to see how the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund dollars were used.
Drillers Edge had qualified for a significant grant in 2013 which played a large role in the start-up of their drill rod and casing manufacturing facility. Prior to her broadcast Ms. Wynne and the Mayor of North Bay, Al McDonald, were given a private tour of the new facility. The full broadcast can be viewed here.
